Hello, dear friend, welcome to .bit community!

It’s necessary to bind Discord with .bit account, so that we can get more potential rewards in .bit community. You know, .bit has not issued governance token yet.

Please follow the instructions:

Step 1:

Make sure you have registered one .bit account.

Please connect your wallet address with .bit official website (did.id).

Then go to ‘My’ page, choose the .bit account you want to manage.

Then in your .bit account, click ‘Manage’ and go to ‘Managa Data’.

Step 2:

Find the ‘Profile’ part, and choose ‘Add New’.

Select ‘Discord’ for ‘Key’. Submit your full Discord username, like ‘xxxxx#xxxx’. Finally, save the changes.

eg: My Discord username is wanxiang.bit#1263 while my .bit account is capitolhill.bit. So I input my Discord username here, wanxiang.bit#1263.

Specially, for those whose Discord usernames have upper letters, the spaces between letters and some special characters:

When you input your Discord name on .bit account management dashboard, please make sure you have input the full Discord username, including the uppercase letters, the spaces between letters and some special characters.

Input your Discord username fully and correctly. Otherwise you may fail to verify.

Step 3:

Back to the ‘Manage Data’ page, click ‘Next’ on the bottom.

Next, confirm changes:

Please sign in your wallet.It’s done now! Modification will take about 5 minutes.

Step 4:

Go to #verify-bit-account# channel in .bit community. (Below is the link of .bit community.) You will find this channel in —start-here– part in .bit community.

Input the command: !verify xxxxx.bit (Your .bit account which was bound with this Discord username)

eg: My Discord username is wanxiang.bit#1263 while my .bit account is capitolhill.bit. So I input the command: !verify capitolhill.bit

The verification bot will send the feedback.

After successful verification, you will get ‘.bit owner’ role!

Now you are eligible for all events in .bit community! Congratulations!
