Martian Wallet

Martian wallet is a crypto wallet that can be used to manage digital assets and access decentralised applications on the Aptos blockchain.

Martian wallet is now accessible as a Chrome extension and will soon be available as an iOS app.

Martian wallet’s fundamental mechanism is the creation and administration of private keys on the side of its users. Then, you may use these keys to sign transactions and store funds in Martian wallet.

The Martian wallet extension injects an aptos object into the javascript context of each website the user visits in order to communicate with online applications. Through this injected object, a specific web app may then communicate with the Martian wallet and request the user’s approval to execute transactions.

Users guide to martin wallet:

Downloading

1. First we have to visit the site:https://martianwallet.xyz/
2. Click the download button on the right top corner

3. Then the chrome web store will open. Please click the add to chrome / brave option to add the extension to your favourite browser.

Creating account

1. After adding extension to your browser open the extension

2. You will be seeing a welcome to the martin page

3. Click the create new wallet option given

4. Keep a password of you choice , confirm it and tick the terms and conditions agreement colum.

5. The next window will show your 12 word recovery phrase . please note it down very carefully its very important.

Click the continue option

6. Click again the continue option to open your fully functional martin wallet.

Recovering an existing account

Please keep in mind that you always need your recovery phrase to do it. if you lose your recovery phrase you literally loosing your wallet so always be careful.

1. Open the martin wallet extension and click the “i already have a wallet option”

2. Paste your recovery phrase in the coming window and click the “continue ” option in the bottom

3. Keep a password of your choice , agree the T&C click continue

4. Click the finish button and you are all set to go

• Martians can choose which alerts they want to receive in their wallet by using the @saydialect integration to receive them.
• you can choose your preferred NFT as your wallet PFP, which will be shown next to your account.
