Important timeline

First, some important housekeeping. We are sunsetting Typus V1 and migrating to Typus V2 at 8am UTC on Oct 20th, 2023.

Please withdraw your entire balance from V1 vaults NOW and re-deposit to the new V2 vaults at 8am UTC on Oct 20th, 2023.

All vaults in Typus V1 will be deprecated at 8am UTC on Oct 20th, 2023 and will enter REDEEM ONLY mode.

All assets and positions will be managed at Typus V2 moving forward.

Big_vector framework

We’ve pivoted our foundational framework to big_vector, an innovative approach to data scalability by combining vectors and dynamic fields. Through big_vector, we are able to achieve hyper-flexibility on our products.

By significantly reducing the operating cost, we can now offer a wide variety of products for depositors and bidders. Want short-term options? We can now implement 1-hour or even 5-min duration options! Want more underlying assets? We can now support native tokens, LST, bridged coins, and even NFTs.

NFTs as option positions

In V2, option positions are now represented by NFTs. Typus can now support OTC trading to onboard institutional market makers. This new change allows us to facilitate multiple rounds of auctions, thus boosting trading volumes and generating higher yields for depositors.

We are also able to implement secondary market trading in the future, significantly improving users’ capital efficiency.

Fee adjustments

We’ve adjusted our fee mechanism to the following.

Depositors:
• Waive claim fee 0.1%
• Harvest & compound fee 10%

Bidders:
• Trading fee 10%
• V2 requires bidders to manually collect rebates and exercise options, both features are currently free.
